Who is Scruff?

OUR STORY

The Unforgiving Scruff is the story about Adam Davis, a university professor in his early 30’s, whose ideals for his students are shattered by an act of horrific violence right outside the school’s campus. The trauma experienced by this event leads the professor down a dark twisted path for justice, turning him into the urban vigilante, known as The Scruff.

Why Did I Create The Scruff?

OUR STORY

Stan Lee said when he first introduced his concept for Spider-Man, a publisher told him no one wanted to read about a hero’s personal problems. Now we know how deeply wrong that publisher was. People want heroes with real problems they can all identify with.

The increased awareness in our society around mental health inspired me to tell not just an action-packed story, but one that shows the turmoil affecting the hero when the mask comes off.
